Nowcast for July 19, 2019

Past Events

Within the last few days, no significant conditions were observed. There were a few CMEs, although none of them were Earth-directed. Since the AR 12744 turned the back side of the Sun on July 17, there were no active regions. Thus no significant solar flares were observed. Geomagnetic activities were at low levels.

Within the last 24 hours, all of the parameters were at normal levels. There were neither sunspots nor active regions observed. Thus there were no significant CMEs and solar flares. Coronal holes remain in north and south poles. The solar wind speed changed between 334 and 412 km/s, which is its normal range. Southward magnetic field strength did not exceed 3.5 nT. There were no magnetopause crossing. Kp level indicated quiet conditions by reaching a maximum level of 1. Minimum Dst were -4 nT and AE was below 1000 nT, which are their normal levels. F10.7 radio flux were 67 which is normal during solar minimum.
