July 31-August 6, 2017
Solar activity was at low levels within the last week.
Two active regions 12669 and 12670 were visible on August 3, 2017.
AR 12669 disappeared on August 4, due to the rotation of the Sun.
There were only a few B class flares observed during the week and all of them were associated with the AR 12670.
There were two coronal hole HSS arrivals one on August 1 and the other on August 4.
The one on August 4 had solar wind speed up to 800 km/s and the IMF Bz was southward with a min value of -17 nT.
The solar wind speed kept its maximum values during the weekend while the IMF Bz oscillated between -6 and 6 nT.
Kp index showed a max value of 4 which indicates less than minor geomagnetic storm activity according to NOAA geomagnetic storm scale.
AE index was between 500 and 1000 nT which indicates moderate substorm levels.
